BS Atlanta - Happy Hour

It is 4pm on Friday, and you are counting down the minutes until you can high-tail it out the office door to meet your friends for happy hour. But where should you guys go? Don't worry, Belle and Sprout are here with their first blog...

Where to go for happy hour in Atlanta.

We began the evening by battling the 14th street construction traffic to get to TAP. Once we arrived we were ready for a cocktail and some apps. The martini was good, but the food was horrific. I have food allergies, and they were not accommodating in the least. I asked for a "sub with", and you would think I asked them to design a pair of Manolo's. All I hear while I am sitting at the bar is the servers saying, "who asked for what?? I don't know." Who knew cucumber slices were such a HOT commodity. ;) There was also no prospective talent there (guy-wise). So we decided to head elsewhere for a new scene. We wait a good 20 minutes for the valet (no line, just slow valet), when my friend notices there is grease on my purse (from hanging my purse under the bar) agggrrr. This was the final straw...4 thumbs down.

So we are off to Lola.

And we have to say 4 THUMBS UP. They could not have been more accommodating with my allergies and Doug makes the BEST drinks in the city. VIP treatment the whole way. Although as far as talent goes (note: when I write "talent" I mean prospective guys for dating), unless you like the plastic, tight t-shirt wearing, hair gel guys, this is no the place for you. This is not my type of guy, but for those girls who like this...you will love LOLA.
